On March 28, 2024, the Faculty of Data Science co-organized a series of university anniversary activities, held a global talent introduction seminar for Pengcheng National Laboratory, and invited Professor Tingting Yang, director of the Human Resources and Education Department of the laboratory, as the speaker. This event attracted academics from the faculty staff and doctoral students actively participated.
At the briefing meeting, Minister Tingting Yang gave a comprehensive introduction to the scientific research results and future development directions of Pengcheng National Laboratory. Since its establishment in 2018, Pengcheng National Laboratory has been committed to scientific research in fields such as broadband communications, new networks, and network intelligence. The laboratory has established a scientific research team of more than 1,000 people led by academicians, and has established in-depth cooperative relationships with well-known universities, scientific research institutions and enterprises at national and abroad.
In terms of talent introduction policies, Minister Yang explained in detail the laboratory’s strategies for attracting and cultivating scientific research talents, emphasizing the superior scientific research environment and generous remuneration provided by the laboratory for scientific researchers. In addition, the seminar also introduced the laboratory's postdoctoral recruitment plan and provided participants with detailed contact information and consultation channels.
After the meeting, participants spoke highly of Pengcheng National Laboratory’s scientific research strength and sincerity in attracting talents. This seminar not only provided opportunities for scientific research talents to understand and join scientific research institutions but also laid a solid foundation for the development of the laboratory.
