丁衛平,博士,教授,博士生導師,IEEE高級會員,CCF高級會員,南通大學信息科學技術學院副院長,悉尼科技大學研究員, 澳門城市大學博士生導師,江蘇省“六大人才高峰”高層次人才,江蘇省“青藍工程”中青年學術帶頭人,主要研究方向為人工智能及計算智能、醫學圖像智能分析、多模態機器學習及優化、深度神經網絡、腦認知研究、粒計算及其在不確定大數據中應用等。目前擔任IEEE-CIS Task Force on Granular Data Mining for Big Data創始主席, IEEE-CIS數據挖掘與大數據分析專委會委員,IEEE-SMC 粒計算專委會委員,IEEE-SMC 軟計算專委會委員,CCF人工智能與模式識別專委會委員,CAAI粒計算與知識發現專委會委員,CAAI智能服務專委會委員,近年來先後赴臺灣交通大學、加拿大University of Lethbridge、新加坡National University of Singapore、澳大利亞University of Technology Sydney等進行博士後研究、學術訪問和科研合作。

近年來主持/完成國家自然科學基金、江蘇省自然科學基金、江蘇省高校自然科學研究計劃重大項目等各類科研項目20餘項,在IEEE TFS、IEEE TNNLS、IEEE TCYB、IEEE TITS、IEEE TBME、IEEE TEVC、IEEE TETCI、IEEE TCDS等國際期刊和會議上發表高水平論文200餘篇,其中16篇入選 “ESI高被引論文”。授權中國發明專利27項、美國發明專利1項、澳大利亞發明專利1項。相關成果獲江蘇省高等學校科學技術研究成果獎一等獎,江蘇省教育教學與研究成果獎三等獎,江蘇醫學科技獎二等獎,江蘇省高等教育科研成果三等獎等。

近年來擔任多個國際著名期刊的副主編、領域編委或者編委,包括IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems、IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems、IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems、IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica、IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence、IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Vehicles、IEEE Transactions on Artificial Intelligence、Information Fusion、Information Sciences、Applied Soft Computing、Neurocompution、Swarm and Evolutionary Computation、Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence 等,擔任Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Systems和Artificial Intelligence Advances的共同創刊主編。作為客座主編在國際著名期刊IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation、IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems、IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence、Information Fusion、Information Sciences等上組織多個主題特刊Special Issue。
