Gang Li, Chairman of Qinghai Blue Computing Technology Co., Ltd., and his delegation visited the City University of Macau on August 19th and were warmly received by Rector Liu Jun and Vice Rector Zhou Wanlei. Rector Liu Jun and Chairman Li Gang signed agreements on behalf of both parties to jointly build the "Green Trusted Intelligent Computing Joint Laboratory", helping to promote the in-depth development of the green trusted intelligent computing field. Luo Juan, the investment president of Hubei Luojia Capital Co., Ltd., Peng Gui, an assistant professor at Wuhan Institute of Technology, and Tianqing Zhu, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Data Science of City University of Macau, attended the forum. 

 

Rector Jun Liu stated that the signing and establishment of the "Green Trusted Intelligent Computing Joint Laboratory" is a good starting point for the friendly cooperation between City University of Macau and Qinghai Blue Computing Technology Co., Ltd. It is a highlight action for City University of Macau to implement the national innovation driven development strategy and actively promote deep cooperation with enterprises. 

 

Vice President Wanlei Zhou pointed out that City University of Macau has always strongly supported university enterprise cooperation and industry university research cooperation, investing sufficient space, software and hardware, and talent support in university enterprise joint laboratories. The establishment of a joint laboratory focused on green and trustworthy intelligent computing can fully leverage the talent and technological reserves in data science, artificial intelligence, and information security at the City University of Macau. 

 

Chairman Gang Li stated that the signing of the contract with the City University of Macau is a concrete action taken by both parties in response to the national "East West Calculation" project. Through this cooperation, complementary advantages and resource sharing will be achieved, injecting new impetus into the development of green and trustworthy intelligent computing. 

 

Vice Dean Tianqing Zhu stated that with the joint efforts of both parties, this joint laboratory will undoubtedly become a model of industry university research cooperation, playing an important role in promoting technological innovation, cultivating high-quality talents, and serving economic and social development. 

 

The President of Juan Luo Investment shared the industry's demand for AI generated content (AIGC) in new media, cultural outreach, and public opinion management. Both parties explored the intention of further cooperation with relevant colleges such as the Faculty of Data Science and the School of Innovative Design. 

 

After the meeting, guests held a special exchange symposium at the Faculty of Data Science, where both sides had in-depth discussions on the details and future development of the cooperation project.
