To promote academic research and industrial cooperation, City University of Macau and Inspur Cloud Information Technology Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement yesterday to establish a partnership. Xue Xiao, Executive President and Chief Engineer of Inspur Group, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Inspur Cloud Information Technology Co., Ltd., visited the City University of Macau yesterday and was warmly received by Vice Rector Zhou Wanlei. 

The guests visited the campus environment and the laboratory of the Faculty of Data Science at City University of Macau, and then the two sides had in-depth discussions on topics such as scientific research, industry university research, and talent cultivation. Vice Rector Zhou Wanlei and Executive President Xue Xiao signed cooperation agreements on behalf of both parties, hoping to fully utilize their respective advantageous resources, jointly promote technological innovation and industrial development, and promote scientific and technological exchanges between Macau and the mainland. 

Vice Predsident Wanlei Zhou introduced the research achievements, laboratory construction, and future development plans of City University of Macau in the field of data science. The Faculty of Data Science at City University of Macau actively engages in industry university research exchanges and collaborations with domestic and foreign universities, enterprises, and institutions. It will use joint laboratories as a platform and focus on cross-border flow of commercial data security and compliance, as well as vertical applications of large models. The University will deepen its cooperation with Inspur Cloud Information Technology Co., Ltd. on scientific research projects and research projects, jointly cultivate talents, and carry out academic achievement exchanges and activities. Xue Xiao, the CEO, briefly introduced the industry characteristics and future plans of Inspur Cloud, and expressed the hope to carry out deeper exchanges and cooperation with the City University of Macau in scientific research, industry university research, and other fields. Both parties hope to conduct joint research on "data science and data-driven decision-making", establish a joint laboratory, carry out cross disciplinary cooperation with data elements as the core, achieve complementary advantages, and jointly build an innovative model of school enterprise cooperation.
