Explanation on the Graduation Project of the 2027 Bachelor's Degree in Intelligent Technology and Services


Graduation design is an important teaching link in the cultivation of undergraduate talents, and an important combination point for achieving the integration of teaching, scientific research, and social practice. Doing a good job in graduation project work is of great significance for improving students' comprehensive abilities and overall qualities.

 

1、 Purpose and Requirements

Graduation design is a fundamental training that cultivates students' ability to comprehensively apply the basic theories, professional knowledge, and basic skills of this discipline for comprehensive practice. It aims to cultivate students' ability to independently propose, analyze, and solve problems, and enhance their innovative consciousness and ability.

 

2、 Process management

The graduation project work includes grouping and topic selection, group meetings and guidance, thesis submission and defense, and other stages. The supervisor is responsible for the quality of the graduation project, while the college is responsible for process management, supervision and guidance, and quality monitoring.

The selection of graduation project topics should be based on the principle of teaching students according to their aptitude. Under the guidance of their supervisors, students should clarify their graduation project topics through self selection or assignment. After individuals or teams sign the "Graduation Design Guidance Professor Consent Form" with their supervisors and submit it to the college, they are generally not allowed to change it arbitrarily. topic selection

1.The content of the topic should meet the basic requirements of professional teaching, reflect the        principle of closely integrating teaching with scientific research, technological development, economic construction, and social development, focus on cultivating students' practical ability, innovation consciousness, and innovation ability, and strengthen students' systematic and comprehensive training in the graduation design process.
2.The graduation project is generally completed in individual form, and each student is required to submit an independent graduation thesis. If the graduation project involves teamwork, the graduation thesis must specify the independent work content and corresponding workload to be completed.
 

(2) Group meetings and guidance

During the graduation project, each student should attend no less than 6 group meetings and report progress to their supervisor. The supervisor should sign the "Graduation Project Meeting and Guidance Record" for each group meeting.

 

(3) Paper submission and defense

1.  Students must submit their graduation project within the time frame specified by the college. The             requirements for graduation project are as follows:

   ·   The word count requirement for the main text of the graduation project is no less than 10000 words.

   ·   Students are required to have a unified cover and format for their graduation project.
 

2.  The initial draft of the submitted paper is confirmed by the supervisor and then finalized, entering the plagiarism check stage. Students must use the school library's plagiarism check service, and a plagiarism check rate below 20% is considered successful.
 

3.  After the plagiarism check is confirmed by the supervisor, the paper enters the review stage. Students are required to submit: (Deadline: March 12, 2027)

4.  The paper review is divided into two parts: supervisor review and expert review.

  • Mentor review: The mentor should carefully review the paper and write comments, providing opinions and suggestions on whether the student is qualified for defense. Mentors should promptly detect and correct students' academic misconduct, and may revoke their defense qualifications if necessary.
  • Expert review: The college organizes experts to review each student's paper, plagiarism report, and actual completion status of the paper. The review experts review the defense qualifications and fill in the review comments.
     

5.  Only students whose papers have passed plagiarism check, supervisor confirmation, supervisor review, and expert review are allowed to participate in the defense. Students will receive a defense notice one week before the defense. (Initial defense date: end of March 2027 to end of April 2027)

Defense precautions:

   If students fail to submit within this period, it may result in delayed graduation.

  • Students need to prepare a speech within 10 minutes using PPT
  • Print three hard copies of the paper by yourself
  • At the defense site, the supervisor and evaluation team will conduct an oral examination and score on the "Graduation Design Evaluation Form"

·   If the defense is approved, the supervisor and the judging panel will sign the "Undergraduate Defense Committee Approval Form";
·   If the defense is temporarily approved, students will need to revise their paper within the designated period;
·   If the defense fails, the student needs to reapply for the defense.

6.  After passing the student defense, the final draft of the thesis needs to be submitted to the supervisor for review. After the review is approved, the graduation design and other related data will be submitted to the college for electronic and paper archiving. Students are required to submit:

  • After the defense is approved, students will receive the "Undergraduate Defense Committee Approval Form" signed by the supervisor and the judging panel
  • Send the final version of the paper in PDF and WORD format to the college email
  • Submit one printed copy (double-sided printing) of the completed nailed paper to the college office
