On November 15, 2019, Professor Wencai Du, Dean of our Faculty, attended the '2019 Seventh China Smart Park Conference and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Industrial Park Development Summit Forum'.
The event was hosted by the China Development Zone Association, co-organized by the Smart Development Zone Construction Professional Committee of the China Development Association, and hosted by the Shenzhen Smart City Research Association. It was held during the 21st China International High-tech Achievements Fair in Shenzhen. More than 300 people attended the meeting, including representatives from various development zones and smart city pilot units across the country, as well as smart city experts and outstanding entrepreneurs at home and abroad. Jianmin Meng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Guoliang Li, a distinguished expert from the China Development Zone Association, and Zhuowen Li, vice secretary-general of the Shenzhen Municipal Government, attended the conference and delivered speeches.
At the meeting, Fengsi Wei, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, director and researcher of the Institute of Space Science and Applied Technology of Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen); Xiangshen Chen, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and chief scientist of the China Smart City Construction Investment Alliance; Chairman of the Bureau of the China Smart City Construction Investment Alliance, Shenzhen Sanming Liu, President of the Municipal Smart City Construction Association; Wencai Du, Dean of the Research Institute of Data Science of the City University of Macau; Yuelin Liang, Chief Technology Officer CTO of Siemens Transportation Co., Ltd. and Chief Transportation Planning Expert of the Alliance; Xunxun Yu, Assistant President of Guangdong Feiqi Internet Technology Co., Ltd.; Yuan Fang, General Manager of Smart Park Market of ZTE Corporation, and others made keynote speeches focusing on the theme of the conference.
