The WRCT 2024 World Robot Competition selection competition, hosted by the Chinese Institute of Electronics and hosted by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Education and Training Association and City University of Macau, was held yesterday at the Cultural Center of City University of Macau. The competition attracted 150 primary and secondary school students from Macau and the Mainland to participate. The 18 teams that won the championship, second and third place will participate in the national finals to be held at the end of this year. The theme of this AI Innovation Unbounded Competition is "Unbounded World". The competition covers three categories: primary school juniors, primary school seniors, and middle school groups. They are all team competitions. Participating students need to use sensors, mechanical structures, algorithm learning, and programming applications. etc., and carry out wheel warfare through joint confrontation.

The World Robot Competition has been successfully held 9 times since 2015, attracting nearly 300,000 contestants from more than 20 countries around the world. It is praised as the "Olympics" of the robotics industry and is currently a professional event in the field of robotics with wide influence at home and abroad.
