To thoroughly implement the Greater Bay Area development strategy and fulfill the Macao SAR's economic diversification plan, on the morning of March 21, 2026, a delegation from the School of Data Science at City University of Macau visited Zhuhai Zhengling Data Link Technology Co., Ltd. and Zhuhai Genu Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct industry-university-research cooperation and exchange, build a bridge for university-enterprise collaboration, and jointly explore new development paths. The visit was attended by Associate Professors Ying Zuobin and Ding Shengyong, Assistant Professors Yu Wei, Cai Jianping, and Chen Hao, as well as master's representatives from the School of Data Science. Through on-site observation and discussions, the delegation gained a deeper understanding of the companies' technological strength and cooperation needs, solidifying the foundation for university-enterprise cooperation. First Stop: Exploring Zhengling's "Modal-Data Space" and Discussing Data Empowerment 
The first stop of the visit was Zhuhai Zhengling's "Modal-Data Space"—the city's first large-scale model application hub—where the team learned in detail about its advantages in technology research and development, data trading, and computing power services. This space has attracted over 66 large-scale model companies and more than 120 vertical large-scale models, established a "data product supermarket" and a computing power scheduling platform, actively carried out university-local government cooperation, and accumulated rich experience in university-enterprise collaboration.

During the meeting, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as joint talent training, research project application, and the integration of industry, academia, and research in data technology. Leveraging the integrated teaching advantages of our university's School of Data Science—combining talent cultivation, scientific research and development, and knowledge dissemination—they reached a preliminary consensus on cooperation to contribute to the high-quality development of the data industry in the Greater Bay Area. 

Second Stop: Visiting Genu Technology, Building a Blueprint for Cooperation Following this, the team visited Genu Technology Co., Ltd. in Zhuhai, touring the Intelligent Robot Engineering Center and gaining a close understanding of the company's self-developed software, logistics robot R&D achievements, and implementation cases. As a high-tech enterprise responding to the diversified development strategy of the Macao SAR, Genu Technology is deeply involved in the field of logistics robots, with a strategic footprint extending to Portuguese-speaking countries, committed to exporting "Made in China" intelligent manufacturing.

Both sides refined their strategic cooperation plans, identifying eight core areas of collaboration: signing an agreement, holding company-specific sharing sessions, recommending candidates for master's and doctoral degree programs, optimizing ECE courses, jointly applying for projects, establishing joint laboratories, joint master's and doctoral training programs, and promoting cooperation. These efforts aim to ensure the effective implementation of the cooperation.）
