To celebrate the 45th anniversary of City University of Macau, to explore the security resilience of the entire AI industry chain and promote the deep integration of higher education and industry and research in the field of information security, City University of Macau held an "Information Security Frontier Technology and Cross-Domain Collaboration Forum" at the Taipa campus today.
This forum featured five thematic lectures, inviting renowned experts and scholars to share their latest research findings and practical experiences. Among them, Professor Wang Wei from Xi'an Jiaotong University delivered a lecture titled "Data Security in the Construction of Intelligent Systems: Key Technologies and Typical Applications," providing an in-depth analysis of the pain points and solutions for data security in the construction of intelligent systems; Professor Su Zhou from Xi'an Jiaotong University discussed "Security Risk Detection and Protection of Generative Artificial Intelligence," exploring the security challenges brought by generative AI and corresponding protection strategies; Professor Shen Chao from Xi'an Jiaotong University shared insights on the theme "AI Chain Security: From Small Models to Large Models to Embodied Intelligence," providing a comprehensive overview of the security risks across the entire chain of AI technology evolution; Professor Liu Ting from Xi'an Jiaotong University presented "New Patterns and Countermeasures of Data Leakage in the AI Era—A Review and Inspiration from the India-Pakistan Conflict Power Grid Attack Incident," analyzing new characteristics of data leakage and countermeasures using real-world cases; and Assistant Professor Wang Ye from the University of Macau explored new directions in cybersecurity protection from a human-centered perspective, focusing on "Human Factors Research and Behavioral Intervention in Web3 Phishing Attacks."
This forum not only fully demonstrated CityU's research strength and cross-domain collaborative vision in the field of information security, but also contributed "CityU wisdom" to information security assurance under the new circumstances through the detailed breakdown of cutting-edge technologies. At the same time, the forum further built a bridge for exchange and cooperation in the field of information security both domestically and internationally, effectively promoting Macao's higher education to embark on a new journey in safeguarding national security and contributing to the high-quality development of the digital economy, and laying a solid foundation for Macao to cultivate high-quality information security talents and deepen industry-academia integration.
