On March 28, 2026, the "On-site Lesson of the 148th Workshop of Fang Binxing's Experimental Class" was held on the third floor of the Sino-Portuguese Building, Taipa Campus, City University of Macau. The academic atmosphere was lively and efficient, and the students had in-depth sharing and discussion around the latest cutting-edge papers.
There are seven seminar halls, located in classrooms L305, L306, L307, L308, L309, L310 and L311 on the third floor of the Chinese Portuguese Building, Taipa Campus, City University of Macau. The main and deputy commentators include Dai Qionghai of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Zheng Weimin of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Hu Shimin of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Academician Fang Binxing toured the classrooms to provide commentary guidance, providing high-level guidance and evaluation for the students' reports.
The reports in each class cover a number of frontier directions such as artificial intelligence security, data privacy protection, cryptography and applications, network communication security, blockchain and security, and attack behavior monitoring. Students shared in-depth papers around the latest papers from top international conferences and journals, including hot topics such as visual language model reasoning chain, federated learning, privacy-protecting machine learning as a service (MLaaS), large language model illusion mitigation, reverse engineering and jailbreak attack and defense, binary code similarity detection, and blockchain security.
After each report, the questioning students, the questioning teacher and the main and deputy commenting teachers asked targeted questions from different perspectives. This training model of “reading papers, speaking papers, and doing research” fully demonstrated the consistent teaching characteristics of Fang class, greatly improving the students’ academic expression ability, critical thinking and research vision.
The successful holding of this live class at Macao CityU further deepened the cooperation between Fang Binxing Experimental Class and City University of Macao, fully played the role of Macao as an internationalization platform, and injected new vitality into the training of high-level talents in the field of information security. In the future, Fangban will continue to adhere to high standards and strict requirements, and continue to promote academic exchange and innovative talent training.
