The Huawei ICT Competition 2025-2026 Macau Station is jointly organized by Huawei Macau Branch, The Association for Promotion of Science and Technology of Macau, and the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center. This annual ICT competition features training in November 2025, the Macau Regional Finals on December 8, the Asia-Pacific Regional Competition in March 2026, and the Global Finals in May.The competition, themed “Connect, Honor, Future” and with the slogan “I.C. The Future,” aims to create an international platform for competition and exchange among university students worldwide, enhancing their ICT knowledge and practical skills.The competition consists of three stages: national, regional, and global. The Macau regional competition features two tracks—the online track and the computational track—and comprises both written examinations and practical experiments.

To help students better understand and participate in this competition, Huawei and the Faculty of Data Science at City University of Macau hosted a dedicated roadshow event at the Student Garden on October 13, 2025.Huawei Macau Branch Marketing Director Min Xu, along with Human Resources Department members Yingtong Liu and Baoru Wen, attended the roadshow event. Also present were Associate Professor Wenjian Liu, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Data Science at City University of Macau , and Associate Professor Yongde Guo, Program Coordinator. Director Xu introduced the company, industry developments, and competition details, while Huawei engineers presented the learning algorithms and computational power available for use in the contest. The event drew an enthusiastic response, with students actively asking questions and participating. Over 80 students registered for the competition that day.
