He is currently the executive vice president of the School of Information Technology at Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai, and the leader of the Measurement and Control Technology and Instrumentation discipline. He graduated from the Department of Optical Engineering of Xi'an Polytechnic University in July 1982 received a bachelor's degree in engineering; in March 1988, he graduated from the Department of Optical Engineering at Beijing Institute of Technology with a master's degree in engineering; in July 2002, he graduated from the Department of Opto-Electronic Engineering at Beijing Institute of Technology with a doctorate in engineering.

Machine vision, Optoelectronic imaging and information processing, Biomedical imaging, Laser and optoelectronic technology, Optical engineering and measurement.
Major Achievements
He has successively undertaken and participated in research on a number of scientific research projects, including the National 863 Program, national defense pre-research and other funds. He has published more than 40 papers in domestic and foreign journals and conferences, including more than 20 EI-indexed papers. He has won one first prize for scientific and technological progress from the university first prize for scientific and technological progress. He teaches courses such as digital image processing, optoelectronic imaging technology, precision instrument design, fundamentals of precision machinery design, physical optics, and applied optics. He has received an outstanding teaching award for his excellent teaching.
Social Duties
Currently a member of SPIE (International Society for Optical Engineering), Chinese Optical Society, Modern Biophysical Technology Professional Committee of Chinese Biophysical Society, and China Machine Vision Club Committee.
