Welcome to the Faculty of Data Science! 

The mission of the Faculty of Data Science is to uphold the motto of 'Virtue Knowledge, Practice' while adhering to the spirit of 'Pursuing Truth and Innovation, Striving for Excellence.' We aim to cultivate leading talents in the field of big data, contributing to education, research, application, and industrial incubation in data science, intelligent technology, and information security for Macau, the Greater Bay Area, China, and the world. 

The Faculty of Data Science is dedicated to scientific research, talent cultivation, and industrial innovation in the field of big data, and emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration to promote cutting-edge development in data science and related fields. Our programs including Doctor of Data Science, Doctor of Computer Science, Master of Data Science, Master of Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and Bachelor of Science in Intelligent Technology and Services which combines computer technology with international tourism and management skills. We also co-offer a master’s program in Financial Technology with the Faculty of Finance. With the approval of the Ministry of Education, we have partnered with Minzu University of China to offer an undergraduate program in Data Science and Big Data Technology. Our goal is to cultivate students' innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, and practical abilities through a multidisciplinary curriculum in data science and big data technology, aiming to develop talents with a data science mindset, broad knowledge, strong practical skills, independent knowledge acquisition abilities, innovative awareness, and teamwork spirit.
