The 2022 " Greater Bay Area IT Application System Development Competition" Macau Branch Road Show (held online) hosted by the Macau International Technology Industry Development Association will be held from 9 am to 1 pm on June 5. The competition aims to broaden the global scientific and technological horizons of Bay Area college youth and promote the cultivation of IT engineering application technical talents and innovative and entrepreneurial talents.
The competition has been held since 2016. The winning projects can be exhibited at the China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Achievements Fair, attracting more than 4,000 participating teachers and students from more than 60 universities in the Greater Bay Area and surrounding areas. It is worth mentioning that in the 2021 IT competition, the Macau team won the gold medal in the finals.
The Macau International Competition has been hosted by the Macau International Science and Technology Industry Development Association for seven consecutive years since its inception. This year, entries are collected from Macau universities and colleges. There are three winning prizes and shortlisted prizes respectively. After preliminary screening, a total of 12 teams were qualified to participate in the road show. The winning prizes were won by City University of Macau’s 'Glue APP Project Plan' project and City University of Macau’s 'Yuan Plan' Internet + Learning Sharing Platform project. They will represent Macau in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Finals within the month. The awards will be held in early September.
