City University of Macau and BroadWare Information System Co., Ltd. jointly established a network security testing base to jointly train professionals

In order to promote understanding among teachers in the Faculty of Data Science, the school held three research workshops from April to May 2024, providing a platform for teachers to share their research directions and content. The themes were "Information Security", "Artificial Intelligence Medical Imaging", and "Data Science Theory and Algorithms".

In the first research workshop, Professor Zhou Wanlei, Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Data Science at the City University of Macau, delivered an opening speech, expressing joy at the high level and professional development of the school's three major fields - "Information Security", "Artificial Intelligence Medical Imaging", and "Data Science Theory and Algorithms". He also looked forward to the continuous growth of the school's faculty in the future. Professor Zhu Tianqing, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Data Science, and Associate Professor Ying Zuobin, Programme Coordinator of the Graduate, presided over the workshop and delivered keynote speeches on "A Cybersecurity View on Deep Learning" and "Attribute based Encryption Fundamental and Its Application". Vice Dean Zhu systematically elaborated on adversarial attacks and defense, as well as their various stages, from the perspective of network security. Afterwards, Assistant Professors Feng Xia, Liu Chi, Cui Sanshuai, and Zhong Zhen also gave speeches and reports respectively. The atmosphere was lively on site, and teachers who were unable to attend actively participated online.
