PhD Supervisor/Assistant Professor, currently Deputy Director of Software Engineering and Director of International Affairs at Macquarie University in Australia. Professor Zheng specializes in safety and reliability analysis of automated systems, service computing, and motion recognition. He has published more than 60 high-quality publications in top journals and conferences, including more than 30 SCI-indexed papers and several EI-indexed papers. He received the best paper award at the Australian Distributed Computing and Doctoral Consortium in 2017 and the Deakin Research Excellence Award in 2016. One of his papers on system security received the world's top 20 impact award in the world-renowned journal CCPE in 2018. In 2018, another of Professor Zheng's papers on IoT security received high citations. In 2019, a paper on sensor ensemble learning was accepted by IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials with an impact factor of 22. Professor Zheng serves as a journal editor and review committee member for multiple top conferences and journals around the world, as well as serving as the conference chair for top conferences.
