The Huawei ICT Competition 2022-2023 in Macao, jointly organized by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., the Macau Association for the Advancement of Science and Technology, and the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center, was successfully held and a number of awards were presented. Under the guidance of Assistant Professor Ying Zuobin, three students from the Faculty of Data Science of City University of Macau, Jin Yuxin, Ma Chenxiao and Liu Yunzhi, stood out from more than 600 contestants and advanced to the finals, where they won the third prize in the University Online Track. 

With the theme of "Connectivity, Glory, Future" and the slogan of "I.C. The Future", the competition is divided into three stages: Macao Regional Competition, Asia-Pacific Regional Competition and Global Competition, with a cloud track and an online track. A total of 643 university students from all over Australia signed up, of which 72 entered the finals. The Huawei ICT Competition is an ICT competition for college students around the world, aiming to build an international competition and communication platform for college students around the world, improve their ICT knowledge and practical skills, cultivate their innovation and creativity in using new technologies and platforms, and contribute to global digital construction. Since its inception in 2015, the number of participating institutions and students has continued to grow, and it has become the world's top ICT event.

It was an amazing feeling to be involved in ICT again, and it was a privilege to win again thanks to the cooperation and hard work of the panelists. I hope that the ICT competition will continue to get better and better, and that City University of Macau students will be able to achieve better results in future competitions. We would also like to thank Huawei for providing the platform and the school for their support.

This competition provides us with a good opportunity to practice outside of school, and we would like to thank the organizers and the school for giving us such a good opportunity to show ourselves. In the process of participating in the competition, we showed our strengths, not only learned practical knowledge of data communication, network security and WLAN, but also realized the importance of teamwork. This competition has allowed me to put my professional knowledge to good use, and I hope to achieve better results in the future and meet future challenges with a better attitude.
