On October 16, Fei Huang, Chief Strategic Operations Officer of Huafeng Meteorological Media Group of the China Meteorological Administration, led a delegation to visit the Institute of Data Science of our school. Professor Zhiming Cai, Director of the Academic Affairs Office of our faculty, Associate Professor Qinglang Su of the Institute of Data Science, etc. We sincerely welcome Huang Fei and his delegation to the hospital for exchanges. The delegation visited the campus environment and facilities, and held discussions with the academic team of the Data Science Institute of our faculty.

During the period, Coordinator Zhiming Cai briefed Huang Fei and his delegation on the development overview of the Data Science Institute and the progress of relevant academic work. Coordinator Cai mentioned that our institute will focus on technological innovation and development, focusing on the fields of data science and smart technology to promote practical applications, cultivate talents for the city, and provide intellectual support for urban development. 

Representatives of our faculty’s academic staff also introduced the development overview of our school’s academic projects from the aspects of “Smart City” and “Macau Flooding Analysis” at the meeting, and conducted in-depth exchanges. CEO Fei Huang spoke highly of the current research results of our institute. At the same time, he discussed with relevant academic teams and provided practical data resource support for our institute's projects to promote the development of scientific research and teaching in our institute.
