1. Disciplines and majors for enrollment in 2024 

 

Admissions Major: Intelligent Technology and Services 

 

This course adheres to the purpose of being based in Macau and serving the region. It designs an interdisciplinary professional direction and study plan based on the development characteristics of the modern service industry in Macau and the Greater Bay Area and the demand for talents in the modern service industry. This course emphasizes cultivating students with the natural science knowledge, humanities knowledge and foreign language skills necessary to engage in work related to the intelligent service industry, as well as the proficiency in the use of information technology, big data, artificial intelligence and other skills, as well as the business and economics necessary for the modern service industry. Learn basic knowledge and apply the theories, methods and skills learned to solve practical problems in the modern service industry. To cultivate high-quality research, development and management talents suitable for the development of modern service industries in Macau and the Greater Bay Area. 

 

The teaching language is bilingual "Chinese and English". 

 

2. Future employment and application prospects 

 

Graduates of this course can work in smart tourism, smart finance, smart government, smart communities, smart healthcare, smart sales, smart transportation, smart education and other related positions in many fields of the modern service industry. You can also continue to enroll in master's degree programmes in information technology, data science, international tourism, financial technology, modern management, etc. 

 

3. Learning methods and years of study 

 

1. The study mode is full-time. 

 

2. The basic study period for a bachelor’s degree is 4 years, and the maximum extended study period is 7 years. 

 

4. Tuition fees, application qualifications, application procedures, application fees, preliminary review and review, admission, enrollment, graduation and degree awarding 

 

Mainland students 

 

1. Those whose college entrance examination scores reach the second level/segment level (the combined second- and third-level undergraduate level) or above will be admitted on a merit-based basis. 

 

2. Mainland high school graduates from mainland schools (students in international courses) or schools outside the mainland with international course results (not college entrance examination scores) can apply through the results of public examinations (such as GCE, SAT, IB, etc.). 

 

3. University recruitment and admission adopt independent enrollment and independent merit-based admission methods and are not included in the mainland admissions plan. There is no need to submit a personal record (Dangan) for application and acceptance by the University, and this will not affect the candidates' eligibility for admission to Mainland universities. If a candidate is admitted by both the University and a Mainland university, he/she can decide whether to study the programme in Macau or in the mainland at that time.
