In the golden autumn of October, we welcomed 20 new students with master’s and doctoral degrees. On the 6th, the institute held a freshman orientation meeting. Assistant Professor Wenjian Liu, the course director, introduced the institute to the freshmen. Chair Professor Wencai Du introduced the development history of the institute to the freshmen and encouraged them to spend their time and work hard in scientific research. Also attending the briefing was Assistant Professor Koi Io Kong. 

After the briefing, Zhili Sun, a chair professor at the Institute of Communication Systems, University of Surrey, UK, was invited to give the first academic lecture of this academic year.
